On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, President Pendarovski met with Jared Cohen, CEO of Google Jigsaw. Besides President Pendarovski, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Bojan Maricic.
The meeting discussed the application of technological solutions in dealing with global challenges and the need for digitization for rapid development of societies and the need to invest in new technologies.
President Pendarovski stressed that digitization is a priority for North Macedonia and is an area in which increased investment of resources is needed in the coming period.
The interlocutors also discussed the application of new technologies, as well as possible cooperation initiatives.
