The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, met today with Johannes Rey, Head of the Conrad Adenauer Foundation for North Macedonia and Kosovo.
The meeting discussed the ongoing activities of the Foundation which will mark 20 years of operation in North Macedonia next year. President Pendarovski emphasized the importance of the support given by the Foundation to North Macedonia in its aspirations for EU membership through the implementation of numerous projects.
President Pendarovski expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Foundation in the field of political education, in the spirit of democratic values, promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms, political pluralism, mutual tolerance, unity and solidarity.
At today’s meeting, President Pendarovski expressed his expectation that the Konrad Adenauer Foundation will continue to contribute to the development of civil society in the Republic of North Macedonia in the future.
