President Stevo Pendarovski received today Manuel Sarrazin, special representative of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Western Balkans.
The meeting discussed the European integration process of the country, the situation in the region of the Western Balkans and beyond, as well as the current political developments in North Macedonia.
In that direction, the President expressed expectation for further strong support from the German authorities in the country’s accession to the European Union, pointing out that the acceleration of the integration processes is in the interest of the political, security and economic stability of the entire region.
The President praised Sarrazin’s significant role as a special representative of the German Federal Government for the countries of the Western Balkans, which is another confirmation of their commitment to the region.
