President Stevo Pendarovski received today a delegation from the Albanian Parliament, led by Mimi Kodeli, Member of Parliament and Chairwomen of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
At the meeting, President Pendarovski pointed out that our country has a clear commitment to continue the joint cooperation with Albania through open and constructive political dialogue, as the most acceptable possible way to build good neighborly relations and a prosperous future. In that context, he stressed the importance of continuing the dynamic cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
Moreover, opinions and information were exchanged on the European integrations, as well as on the latest developments after the meeting of the General Affairs Council of the European Union. The interlocutors agreed that both North Macedonia and Albania deserve to immediately start negotiations with the European Union, adding that it will have a positive impact on the entire region and is a geostrategic investment in a stable and prosperous Union.
