In the Cabinet of the President, certificates were awarded today to participants in the “Young Managers and Business Leaders” program who, in the past period, successfully completed training in eight companies – members of the Council of Foreign Investors: EVN Macedonia AD, Comfi Angel, Van Hool Macedonia, Kemet Electronics Macedonia, EOS Matrix Macedonia, Philip Morris TKP, Ramstore Macedonia and Makstil AD Skopje.
Expressing gratitude to these socially responsible companies that made their capacities available, enabling professional development of young managers and business leaders, President Pendarovski said that with this program, young professionals are motivated to stay and work here in North Macedonia. That, as President Pendarovski pointed out, will transform our country into a free and prosperous society in which quality, commitment and professionalism will be appreciated.
“The candidates offered new, fresh perspectives that will surely benefit companies. Some of the solutions prepared by the young participants are high quality, comprehensive and sustainable that the companies are ready to implement them in practice”, President Pendarovski said.
In that regard, President Pendarovski expressed satisfaction with the interest of some companies to professionally hire several of this year’s participants, which is a great recognition of this leadership program.
“This means that we are on the right path to create a generation of young, creative and dedicated people who are not enslaved to the old models, but are ready to face the new and rapid changes of the digital age”, President Pendarovski said.
For his part, the President of the Council of Foreign Investors, Stefan Peter, said that the best result of the program are the job offers of some of the participants. “We did a great job in the most difficult period, in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic”, Peter said.
Within this year’s program, the candidates had the opportunity to gain new, practical experiences in strategic planning, to develop their leadership skills and to demonstrate their knowledge. “Young Managers and Business Leaders” is implemented in cooperation between the Cabinet of the President of North Macedonia and the Council of Foreign Investors within the Economic Chamber of Macedonia.
At the meeting, it was agreed that President Pendarovski will pay soon a visit to the Republic of Croatia and thus the dialogue between the two countries at the highest level will continue.
