President Stevo Pendarovski, during his working visit to the Kingdom of Sweden, met today in Gothenburg with representatives of the Macedonian Union.
At the meeting, the Macedonian emigrants introduced President Pendarovski with the activities so far for preserving and promoting the Macedonian culture, language and tradition, as well as for the integration in the Swedish society and the socio-cultural development within the societies and clubs.
Expressing support for further activities in this direction, President Pendarovski stressed that their engagement is a positive example and that they contribute to advancing the cooperation between North Macedonia and Sweden.
The Macedonian Association in Sweden is the largest association of Macedonian expatriates in Scandinavia composed of 11 Macedonian associations and clubs.
