President Stevo Pendarovski received today representatives of the Union of Nurses’ Associations – ZMSTAS.
At the meeting, which is held on the occasion of the International Nursing Week, and on the eve of May 12 – International Nurses’ Day, the representatives of the Union informed President Pendarovski about the planned activities to mark these dates and introduced him to the program and goals.
The representatives of the Union of Nurses’ Associations – ZMSTAS informed about their efforts in health care and protection, the challenges and problems they face, as well as the promotion of the position of nurses in the country. They stressed that investments in nursing are necessary, which they believe are a sustainable investment that will contribute to improving the health care of citizens, and will benefit the whole society.
President Pendarovski congratulated the representatives of the Union of Nurses’ Associations on the occasion of the celebration of Nursing Week and on the occasion of May 12 – International Nurses’ Day and expressed his support for their functioning. The President acknowledged and thanked for the overall engagement of the nurses and expressed the expectation for more pronounced and stronger support from the institutions in the future.
The meeting was attended by Gordanka Beshliovska – President of ZMSTAS – FOR US and President of the Union of Nurses’ Associations, Lence Doneva – Vice President of ZMSTAS – FOR US and Nadzie Fetai, President of ZMSTLA, Tetovo.
