President Stevo Pendarovski received today students from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, accompanied by the Director of the Academy, Ambassador Emil Brix. Students from this renowned Diplomatic Academy based in Austria are visiting Skopje as part of their tour of the Western Balkans.
In his introductory address, President Pendarovski briefed the students on the key aspects of the strategic foreign policy goals of the Republic of North Macedonia, the political developments and challenges on the road to NATO membership and the EU membership negotiations.
At the Q&A session, President Pendarovski and students from several countries exchanged views on the current situation in the Western Balkans region, the European perspectives of the Republic of North Macedonia and other countries in the region, as well as on the developments in the wider region in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
