President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Head of the OSCE Mission to Skopje, Ambassador Clemens Koja.
At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views and information on the situation in the country after the early parliamentary elections and the formation of the new government, as well as on the challenges and priorities in the coming period in the context of the country’s European aspirations.
Ambassador Koja briefed President Pendarovski on the ongoing activities of the OSCE Mission to Skopje. The cooperation between the domestic institutions and the OSCE Mission to Skopje has lasted for many years in various fields and on several programs, with the OSCE Mission providing advisory and program support in police reform, media freedom, electoral reform, gender equality, good governance, human rights, implementation of integrated education.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the challenges in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as on the measures taken at national and local level by the country’s institutions.
