President Stevo Pendarovski received today Ali Fevzi, a humanitarian from Skopje.
At the meeting, Fevzi informed President Pendarovski of his initiative for providing donations for individuals and families at social risk, which was intensified with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fevzi started his humanitarian mission by donating groceries from his own funds, and soon after individuals and organizations joined his initiative. Sharing the challenges he faces in his activity, he pointed out at the meeting that the number of individuals and families in need of aid is constantly increasing and therefore stressed the need to increase support from other humanitarian citizens, organizations and institutions.
President Pendarovski praised Fevzi’s activism, humanity and solidarity and expressed the expectation that his work would set an example for other individuals, organizations and socially responsible companies to help as much as they can those who are most affected by the crisis with the outbreak of the pandemic.
