President Stevo Pendarovski visited today the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, where he met with the Governor of the National Bank, Anita Angelovska-Bezoska, the vice-governors and representatives of the expert team.
The economic achievements of this year and the expectations and assessments of the National Bank for the next period were presented at the meeting, in accordance with the latest projections.
In that direction, the macroeconomic projections for the next year were presented, as well as the challenges for the following period. At the same time, they discussed the general economic situation in North Macedonia and the effect that the movement on the international markets has on it.
The management of the National Bank informed President Pendarovski about the current monetary policy implemented by the National Bank, the maintenance of banking stability, as well as the fulfillment of the bank’s goals in terms of price stability and the stability of the Denar.
During the visit, President Pendarovski inspected the Numismatic Museum of the National Bank, which exhibits about 23,000 samples of coins and banknotes from various periods of the Macedonian history.
