President Stevo Pendarovski received today the newly appointed Ambassadors of the Republic of North Macedonia before leaving for the countries where they will perform their diplomatic duties.
The meeting was attended by Sasko Todorovski, Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Goran Cekov, Ambassador to Japan, Svetlana Geleva, Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, Biljana Stefanovska Sekovska, Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, Beti Jaceva, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Netherlands, Dragan Jordanovski, Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia, Lidija Boskovska, Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic and Milaim Fetai, Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia.
President Pendarovski told our ambassadors that he expects them to primarily and exclusively protect the interests of the Republic of North Macedonia.
“I expect you to be proactive in implementing our foreign policy, to act appropriately and to respond to foreign policy challenges. You have the privilege, but also the great responsibility to continue working on the international reputation of the country”, President Pendarovski said at the meeting.
The President wished good health and success to our new ambassadors in carrying out their responsible diplomatic missions.
