Today, President Stevo Pendarovski received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Sergei Bazdnikin.
At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the overall bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of mutual interest.
President Pendarovski and Ambassador Bazdnikin exchanged information on the situation in the two countries in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as on the dealing with the health, economic and social consequences.
On the eve of Independence Day, September 8, Ambassador Bazdnikin handed over the congratulation message to President Pendarovski by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. Below is the full text of the congratulation message by the Russian President:
“Dear Mr. President,
Please accept congratulations on the occasion of your country’s national holiday – the Independence Day.
I am convinced that the promotion of the constructive bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of North Macedonia would suit the interests of our peoples and would contribute to strengthening the security and stability in the Balkans.
I sincerely wish you good health and success, and peace and prosperity to all your fellow citizens.
