President Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Croatia, met today with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Jandrokovic.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Croatia and the mutual interest was reaffirmed by further building traditionally friendly relations between the two countries by expanding and strengthening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The interlocutors stressed the joint commitment to intensify the parliamentary cooperation, especially through the foreign and European affairs committees of the two parliaments, as a significant contribution to the overall bilateral relations and to creating an environment for better regional cooperation.
President Pendarovski stressed that North Macedonia and Croatia share identical values in order to achieve common goals for peace, stability and prosperity of the entire region, which is further strengthened by the mutual cooperation as two friendly countries and allies in the NATO Alliance.
In the context of our European integration path, President Pendarovski expressed gratitude for the strong, unequivocal and continuous support of Croatia, which in the past period was actively manifested on several levels, maintaining the focus to this process.
