President Stevo Pendarovski received today 12-year-old Ajdin Osmanovic from Srebrenik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, who fascinates with the performance of Macedonian traditional songs.
Speaking about his love for music and traditional Macedonian music, Ajdin said that it is not difficult for him to sing in Macedonian, even though it is not his mother tongue. At his solo concerts, in addition to Macedonian, he also sings traditional Bosnian songs. His professor and mentor Jasmin Brasnjic, who constantly accompanies Ajdin, said that it is important to nurture and bring the tradition closer to the younger generation.
At today’s meeting, Ajdin delighted by singing “Zajdi Zajdi”. Pointing out that Ajdin’s enchanting voice is complemented by his enchanting smile, President Pendarovski said that Ajdin possesses a talent that will undoubtedly bring him great success.
This is Ajdin’s second visit to our country. In May this year, he had a solo concert in Kriva Palanka. Now he is staying in the country, again at the invitation of the mayor Sasko Mitovski, and the occasion is the decision of the municipality of Kriva Palanka to associate with Srebrenik, the hometown of the talented Ajdin Osmanovic.
