The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia and Macedonia2025 Branch in the Republic of Macedonia, today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at publicly valuing all individuals originating from the Republic of North Macedonia, who have made a selfless and continuous contribution to the homeland in various walks of life.
On the basis of the Memorandum, the patronage of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia is established for the Macedonia2025 Recognition for Diaspora Contribution.
The purpose of the recognition established by Macedonia2025 is to appreciate the contribution of diaspora members who individually, or through their organizations, have made a significant or exceptional contribution to economic, social development, education, scientific research, art, or otherwise contributed to the improvement of certain conditions through various forms of donations, volunteer work and investments in the homeland.
According to the Memorandum of Cooperation, criteria and procedures will be set up for the method and procedure of registration, and a Commission will be established that will carry out the procedure for selecting the winner, i.e. winners of the recognition by evaluating the contribution of the registered members of the diaspora.
The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Secretary General of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mile Boshnjakovski, and Nikica Mojsoska Blazevski, Chief Executive Officer of Macedonia2025 Branch in the Republic of Macedonia.
