President Stevo Pendarovski paid a working visit today to the Intelligence Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The President was informed about the current activities of the Intelligence Agency, as well as their international cooperation with partner services and agencies within the international security systems and the NATO Alliance.
During the visit, President Pendarovski was introduced to the implementation of new bylaws arising from the Law on Intelligence Agency, the envisaged intelligence-operational processes under the jurisdiction of the Agency, and the inter-institutional cooperation established with related institutions in the country.
During the visit to the Agency, the President was briefed on issues related to the security situation in the region, the latest developments in Europe and beyond, in the Euro-Atlantic area.
