The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today a delegation of the Chamber of Mediators of the Republic of North Macedonia, led by its President Slave Mladenovski.
Mladenovski informed of the concrete activities of the Chamber of Mediators, being the right place for protection of citizens’ interests. The Chamber exists for two years, and North Macedonia ranks first in the region in terms of disputes resolved in a confidential and cost-effective manner. Many mediation-based disputes bring cost-effectiveness, efficiency and speed in resolving disputes, saving the state and citizens’ budget and reducing the number of disputes in the society.
President Pendarovski stressed the importance of mediators as holders of democratic right to access to justice outside the courts, while ensuring application of the principle of the rule of law and equal access to justice for all and respecting European standards in the application of mediation in the state.
