President Stevo Pendarovski received a vaccine against Covid-19 today in the vaccination point within the PHI Health Center Kumanovo, in the sports hall of the high school “Pero Nakov”. In accordance with the national vaccination campaign, President Pendarovski decided together with members of the Cabinet to be vaccinated in this municipality in order to raise public awareness of the need for mass vaccination.
“I received a vaccination appointment for yesterday, but we were on a business trip that was scheduled a long time ago, we were at a regional meeting. I decided to get vaccinated in another city because there is speculation, misinformation allegedly that some vaccines are administered in Skopje, other vaccines in other cities. Therefore, it is good to break that speculation, I think it is good for others, and for other officials to do the same. I want, on June 8, when is the date for my second dose, to get it in a third municipality, I think it is good to show people that all the vaccines that come to the country are tested, they are all effective and should have no doubt. They should do that act as soon as possible because it is good for us to return to normal in our private and professional lives as soon as possible”, President Pendarovski said in a statement after the vaccination.
