The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassadors of the Republic of Cuba and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
At the ceremony of presenting the letters of credence by Caridad Yamira Cueto Milian, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of North Macedonia, resident in Sofia, President Pendarovski stressed that there is mutual interest and significant potential for even more comprehensive cooperation and quality content development and further advancing of mutual relations in the interest and for the good of both friendly nations.
Ambassador Milian expressed Cuba’s full commitment and readiness to further strengthen political dialogue with North Macedonia, to develop bilateral relations in various fields and to encourage economic and trade ties between the two countries.
Noting that North Macedonia and Egypt are linked by a long tradition of friendship and mutual respect, President Pendarovski said at the presentation of credentials by Khalid Ibrahim Emara, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of North Macedonia, resident in Sofia, that there is interest in promoting and focusing on the development of relations in the field of economics, trade, as well as culture, education, science and technology.
Ambassador Emara said that both countries and the two nations have a long tradition of friendship based on shared experiences and values, emphasizing that in the coming period, his mission will be to deepen the excellent cooperation in many areas of mutual interest and explore new areas of mutual cooperation, which will benefit both peoples.
President Pendarovski wished the newly appointed ambassadors success in performing their responsible diplomatic duties.
