President Pendarovski receives the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Yedigarian

President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Letters of Credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of North Macedonia, resident in Sofia, Armen Yedigarian.

At the ceremony of presenting the credentials, President Pendarovski said that after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and North Macedonia in 2019, the potential to develop and improve bilateral relations has increased significantly.

He noted that the appointment of Ambassador Yedigarian to this responsible duty is seen as an expression of the commitment of the Republic of Armenia to the advancement of bilateral relations in the period ahead. President Pendarovski expressed hope that the Ambassador, with his commitment and professional experience, will contribute to finding new forms for content enrichment of relations, especially in the field of economy, strengthening of trade, culture, education, science, tourism, technology, as well as in all other areas of common interest.

Emphasizing that it is a special honor and pleasure for him to be the first Ambassador of Armenia in North Macedonia, Ambassador Yedigarian acknowledged the role of the small but dynamic Armenian community in North Macedonia in bringing the two countries and peoples together.

President Pendarovski wished Ambassador Armen Yedigarian a successful performance of the important diplomatic mission.
