The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today the Minister without Portfolio in charge of communications, accountability and transparency, Robert Popovski.
At the meeting, Minister Popovski informed President Pendarovski about the efforts of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for full transparency and accountability, presenting the Accountability Tool for the Official Expenses of Public Office Holders.
President Pendarovski confirmed his determination for transparent and accountable work and accepted the invitation of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia and his Cabinet to use the Accountability Tool for the expenses incurred by public office holders.
President Pendarovski, at the meeting, said that the Accountability Tool will be applied after the completion of the necessary technical preparations that are expected to end in the last quarter of the year. President Pendarovski stressed that the use of the Accountability Tool for the expenses of public office holders is aimed at greater transparency of the institutions before the citizens, as well as responsible work.
