President Pendarovski expressed his gratitude for Norway’s support to North Macedonia’s NATO membership aspirations, confirmed by the Norwegian Parliament’s ratification of the Accession Protocol of North Macedonia to NATO in June.

President Pendarovski voiced expectation that the ratification will be completed in all member states in the coming period and that by the end of this year North Macedonia will become a full-fledged NATO member.

North Macedonia, President Pendarovski said at the meeting, with its contribution to the NATO’s peacekeeping missions, is an active supporter of peace on a global level and its membership in NATO has long been deserved.

With full-fledged membership of North Macedonia in NATO, President Pendarovski said at the meeting, one of the key strategic commitments of the state will be completed, which will contribute to its overall development.
