At the joint press conference with the President of Hungary, Katalin Novak, President Stevo Pendarovski expressed his condolences on the occasion of the strong earthquakes that hit the Republic of Turkiye.
“We have just received information that there is a second earthquake, many casualties and terrible destruction. I would once again like to express my condolences to all those affected, and to announce that the Macedonian Government and we, as a country, will not stand still, but will provide specific help. This year marks six decades since the catastrophic Skopje earthquake and we know very well the feeling when some other nations and countries find themselves in a similar situation. Our thoughts are with the Turkish people and Turkish citizens, above all with those who lost their loved ones”, President Pendarovski said.
