President Stevo Pendarovski, on the eve of the celebration of December 5 – International Volunteer Day, participated in an online webinar event organized by the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, under the motto “For All Our Volunteers”.
On behalf of Red Cross, President Pendarovski awarded all volunteers with the Recognition titled “For All Our Volunteers”, for their overall contribution to providing support to various target groups of population affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the Republic of North Macedonia.
“Allow me, on behalf of all citizens, to say a big thank you to all the volunteers for your sacrifice, responsibility and commitment. All this is especially visible in these emergency conditions in which we are, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, when we need all material, medical, but, above all, human resources”, President Pendarovski said.
Congratulating on the International Volunteer Day, President Pendarovski pointed out that the Red Cross volunteers involved in helping and supporting people who are in a difficult situation as a result of the pandemic, are a motive and inspiration for all others and a positive example that restores hope in humanity.
“Today, when the whole world is fighting the pandemic, we should all show solidarity and responsibility, because only through a developed collective consciousness will we achieve common progress”, President Pendarovski told Red Cross volunteers, noting that our country is proud of all their activities so far and contribution to improving the well-being of all citizens.
The representatives of the Red Cross expressed their gratitude to President Pendarovski for his continuous support of all social and humanitarian activities implemented by their organization.
