President Stevo Pendarovski, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Kosovo, visited the KFOR Regional Command West in Peja, where he met with the Commander of the Command, Colonel Andrea Bertazzo, as well as with members of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia performing tasks within this peace mission.
At the meeting with Colonel Bertazzo, President Pendarovski was informed about the overall activities of the KFOR Regional Command West in support of peace and security in the Republic of Kosovo.
President Pendarovski expressed support for the KFOR mission, stressing its importance for the stability of Kosovo and the entire region. President Pendarovski stressed the readiness of the Republic of North Macedonia to promote mutual cooperation and exchange information of common interest, in order to meet the objectives of the mission.
President Pendarovski pointed out that with the participation of 65 members of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia in the KFOR forces, our country as a NATO member makes an active contribution to strengthening peace and stability in the region and beyond.
At the meeting with the members of our army, deployed in the Regional Command of KFOR West, President Pendarovski was informed about their current activities and the performance of tasks. President Pendarovski praised the professionalism and commitment with which our troops perform all set requirements and tasks and said that the Republic of North Macedonia will continue to contribute to this mission.
