Below is a statement from President Pendarovski’s Cabinet as regards the reaction of the VMRO-DPMNE political party to President Stevo Pendarovski’s statement regarding the visit of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti:
The fact that VMRO-DPMNE cannot understand what really happened on Friday is unbelievable.
In their latest press release, apart from some primitive disqualifications that they have become known for in the public, they criticize the President of the country because he called for responsibility by the organizers of the gathering featuring a map of “Great Albania”, where the Macedonian national anthem was not played nor the state flag was featured!
Obviously, this political party deems the competencies of the municipalities and the City of Skopje more important than the protection of the national interests of the state.
