President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today members of the Commission for Prevention and Protection from Discrimination.
At the meeting, the members of the Commission introduced President Siljanovska Davkova to the current activities, the number of filed petitions, the decisions made and the number of cases of discrimination determined so far. Moreover, they underlined their commitment to transparency, accessibility and proactivity in eliminating all types of discrimination and promoting human rights.
Emphasizing the extremely important role of the Commission, as an autonomous and independent body, President Siljanovska Davkova expressed her unconditional support for the activities aimed at preventing and protecting citizens from discrimination, as a basic prerequisite for building a democratic society.
The meeting was attended by the President of the Commission Igor Jadrovski, Deputy President Limko Bejzaroski and members Flora Kadriu, Dragana Drndarevska and Dusan Tomsic.
