President Stevo Pendarovski hosted yesterday afternoon a revue chess match organized by the President’s Office.
Besides President Pendarovski, the chess grandmaster Rolando Kutirov, Jovana Trajcevska, who at the age of eight became the Balkan champion in junior category, as well as Marko Zafirov, state champion in youth chess, who will participate in the European Youth Chess Contest in Struga next year, participated in the revue chess match.
The match was also an opportunity for President Pendarovski to talk to Marko and Jovana about their achievements in chess so far, as well as about the awards and medals won.
The event was organized in order to promote the chess game, to deepen the cooperation with the chess players, as well as to enable an inclusive approach which is a feature of a democratic society.
