Today, President Stevo Pendarovski received participants of the Forum for Cultural Diplomacy – Skopje 2023, which is organized by the office of the former Macedonian President, Gjorge Ivanov, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy from Berlin, the City of Skopje and the International Center “Alliance of Civilizations”.
At the meeting, which was attended by the former President of Bulgaria, Petar Stojanov, the former Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanic, as well as the former Prime Ministers of Moldova, Natalia Gavrilita and of Lebanon, Hassan Diab, President Pendarovski was informed about the goals of the forum. , aimed at improving international relations, by promoting democracy, unity and peace through cultural diplomacy in the new era of conflicts and violence.
President Pendarovski, welcoming the holding of the forum, emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in advancing the overall relations between nations, as well as improving the international visibility of the states.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the current situation in the wider region, the war in Ukraine, as well as on the course of the EU integration process of North Macedonia.
