Signing of the Protocol for awarding the “Boris Trajkovski” scholarships for the City College in Thessaloniki for the academic 2019/2020

The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, Arber Ademi and the Director of the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, City College, located in Thessaloniki, Greece, Yannis Ververidis, signed today the Protocol for cooperation for awarding the “Boris Trajkovski” scholarships for the academic 2019/2020.

The signed Protocol foresees joint cooperation for the academic 2019/2020 in providing twenty scholarships for the Executive Business Administration Program at the Sheffield University, which is being realized in Thessaloniki, Greece, within the frames of the “Boris Trajkovski” scholarships.


Each scholarship individually is in the amount of City College tuition fee and amounts to 14,890 Euros, with fifty percent provided by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, while the other fifty percent is provided by the University of Sheffield.

Students upon completion of this program will acquire Master Degree in Business Administration from the Sheffield University, UK.

The selection of applicants for these scholarships will be carried out jointly by the President, the Ministry of Education and Science, the “Boris Trajkovski” International Foundation and the City College, through a joint commission consisted of one of their representatives, in accordance with the conditions for admission of the University of Sheffield and the legal regulations of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Over 1,000 students have graduated from this program. The majority of them continued their careers in the Republic of North Macedonia, and approximately 250 are in managerial positions in our country.
