President Stevo Pendarovski, today, as part of the participation in the 5th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Estonia, Alar Karis.
The meeting confirmed the friendship and cooperation between North Macedonia and Estonia and it was emphasized that there is a good level of political dialogue between the two countries. President Pendarovski, pointing out that Estonia is our long-term partner in the UN, EU, NATO and OSCE, said that North Macedonia highly values Estonia’s strong and vocal support for the Macedonian European integration, as well as cooperation in international forums.
President Pendarovski expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far in the field of digitization and expressed our interest in implementing the Estonian experience in this field.
The meeting also discussed the geopolitical situation in the context of the war in Ukraine, with reference to the situation and security implications for the Baltic and Balkan states, with the two presidents welcoming the excellent cooperation within NATO.
President Pendarovski is on a working visit to the French Republic, on the occasion of the participation in the 5th edition of the Paris Peace Forum.
