Students from “Ljuben Lape” Primary School from Skopje visited the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia today, as part of the Open Cabinet activity.
The visitors had the opportunity to meet and talk with President Pendarovski, to visit the premises intended for official and working meetings, as well as the halls where meetings, press conferences, Security Council sessions, foreign ambassadors’ credential ceremonies and festivities are held.
In the mosaic hall, the students looked at and became familiar with the symbolism of the imposing diptych “Macedonia – Bright Country” and “Macedonia Remembers”, the work of one of the most important contemporary Macedonian artists, Academician Gligor Chemerski. The employees of the Cabinet informed them of the history of the building in which the President’s Cabinet is located, as well as about the functioning of this institution.
Open Cabinet is part of the Face to Face with the President project, which entails direct meetings of citizens with President Stevo Pendarovski. So far, the Cabinet has been visited by citizens of different ages and professional fields, students from the country and abroad, as well as students from primary and secondary schools from the country.
