Students from the Municipal Primary School “Braka Miladinovci” – Skopje, as part of the subject Society for IV grade, visited today the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The students informed President Pendarovski of the areas they study and their prior knowledge of the social order of North Macedonia. They were interested in his day-to-day responsibilities, as well as the responsibilities of his office. They asked about the 1991 referendum and the establishment of independence, as well as about former presidents.
President Pendarovski, welcoming the commitment of the teaching staff in finding creative forms and ways to stimulate interest among students, stressed the importance of continuous practical improvement of the processes in the primary education, as a foundation and key precondition for producing responsible and progressive individuals who will provide significant contribution to the development of our society.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to visit the rooms where official meetings take place, such as the halls where festivities, events and press conferences are organized. They also met with some of the employees in the Cabinet, from whom they were informed about the history of the facility, which houses the Cabinet of the President, as well as the manner of functioning of this institution. The visit is part of the “Open Cabinet” project.
