For several years now, state delegations of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria have been paying tribute to May 24, the Day of the All-Slavic Enlighteners, the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, laying flowers at the Basilica of Santa Maggiore and the tomb of St. Cyril in the Basilica of St. Clement in Rome and the Vatican.
Taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the fact that the Italian Republic is one of the countries facing great challenges, the cabinets of President Stevo Pendarovski and the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, decided to postpone the celebration for the second half of 2020 when the conditions will allow it, on an appropriate day and date.
