The Wife of the President, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, on the occasion of the great Muslim holiday Ramadan Bayram, visited today the Clinic for Infectious Diseases within the PHI General Hospital Kumanovo.
Gjorgievska was informed about the current activities and the challenges faced by health professionals in this Clinic. In this regard, she stressed their sacrifice, commitment and high professionalism, especially given the complex working conditions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, emphasizing, in this context, the need for responsible and conscious behavior of all citizens, to overcome faster the global health crisis.
During the visit to the hospital, the President’s Wife also met with the health personnel engaged in the “Green Zone” of the Modular Covid Center, who introduced her to the facilities and the intensity of their work in Covid-19 conditions. Gjorgievska expressed confidence that with the reduction of the number of patients, their normal functioning will be re-established soon.
In the spirit of the tradition of the holiday Ramadan Bajyam, the Wife of the President, Gjorgievska, with home-made baklava, honored the medical team on duty at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases and in the three Covid-19 centers within the General Hospital in Kumanovo.
