President Stevo Pendarovski received today the Minister of Justice, Nikola Tupancheski.
The meeting focused on the ongoing reforms in the field of the rule of law, including judicial reform, fight against corruption in accordance with the defined strategic priorities within the European integration process of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Minister Tupancheski presented the priorities in his work after assuming office.
President Pendarovski stressed that a functioning rule of law is one of the main conditions for sustainable development and pointed out that reforms in the field of rule of law should not be made only to meet the formal criteria for EU membership, but also for the trust of citizens in their own country and its institutions.
