President Stevo Pendarovski met today in Sofia with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
At the meeting, the current energy crisis was discussed, with President Pendarovski expressing his expectation for help from the European Commission in the context of European solidarity in dealing with the crisis.
The interlocutors also discussed the course of the screening process as an important stage in the accession negotiations for membership in the European Union of the Republic of North Macedonia.
President Pendarovski said that the country is ready to make the necessary reforms in key areas, as part of the accession process.
