The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia was visited today by students from the “Nikola Karev” High School from Skopje, as part of the Open Cabinet activity.
The students had the opportunity to meet and talk with President Pendarovski, to attend the premises where official and working meetings take place, as well as the halls where meetings, ceremonies, events and press conferences, sessions of the Security Council, credentialing ceremonies take place.
The visitors also saw the imposing diptych “Macedonia – Bright Country” and “Macedonia Remembers”, placed on both walls in the Mosaic Hall, whose symbolism was presented by the artist Elena Chemerska, daughter of the author – academician Gligor Chemerski, one of the most important contemporary Macedonian artists.
The students from the “Nikola Karev” High School attended the ceremony of changing the state flag on the plateau in front of the Cabinet, performed by members of the Battalion for honors and service of the Army, which is held to raise the feeling and respect for the flag of the Republic of North Macedonia, as a symbol of the statehood of our country.
Today’s visit of the students is part of the project Face to Face with the President, which enables direct meetings of the citizens with President Stevo Pendarovski. Visitors of the Cabinet so far are citizens of different ages and occupations, students from the country and abroad, as well as students from primary and secondary schools in the country.
