President Stevo Pendarovski received today a delegation of the World Bank led by Anna Bjerde, World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia.
The interlocutors discussed the World Bank portfolio for the Western Balkans region and North Macedonia, current projects and medium-term plans.
The meeting focused on political and economic developments in the wider region and the challenges of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the global economy. The interlocutors exchanged views on the growth projections of the countries in the region for this year, as well as the projections for global economic and financial stability.
The World Bank delegation is paying a visit to North Macedonia on the occasion of participating in the Second Annual Conference of the Ministry of Finance.
