After a break of several months due to the pandemic of Covid-19, the project “We Volunteer for a Solidarity Society” continues as of today.
President Stevo Pendarovski, together with his family, joined the activity today in MladiHub – Office of the President.
Together with volunteers from partner organizations, they prepared humanitarian packages with food products, personal hygiene and household maintenance items. The packages, in cooperation with the Association of Citizens for Assistance to Homeless, Socially Endangered Families and Individuals “Kindness” and the Association for Human and Social Development – Project “Happiness”, will be distributed to families at social risk, whose condition is further aggravated by the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
For this humanitarian action this time several companies donated, including Pekabesko AD, Dauti Komerc, Rudnik Sasa, EVN Macedonia, Tinex and Vincini.
The Cabinet of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia calls on other socially responsible companies to get involved with their contribution in order to help the vulnerable categories of citizens, those who need support the most in these difficult days.
The motto of this initiative is “We Are Here, We Serve the Community, We Help Each Other!”#WeAreHere #ForEachOther.
