President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the occasion of the celebration of the birth of Christ – Christmas, attended the divine liturgy in the Cathedral “St. Clement of Ohrid” in Skopje, which was officiated by the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, His Holiness Stefan.
After the divine liturgy, in the talks with the believers, Siljanovska-Davkova extended the joyful greeting “Christ is born, indeed He is Born!”, sharing festive wishes for peace, happiness and well-being in every home.
She emphasized the unifying power of Christmas in awakening the divine and human in each of us: goodness, light and hope, which could be witnessed today.
According to her, each of those who attended the liturgy will remember throughout the whole year the words of the Archbishop His Holiness Stefan that we should believe in good and fight against evil, even when it seems impossible at that moment, with the thought that the God, Jesus Christ, is constantly with us to show us the right path.
