President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received today the Letters of Credence of the newly appointed Swiss Ambassador, Christoph Sommer.
The interlocutors assessed the three-decade cooperation as friendly and fruitful, expressing determination and readiness for its expansion and deepening.
The President thanked the Swiss Ambassador for the continued support of the Macedonian European integration. She also praised Switzerland for its numerous and valuable donations in the areas of youth and women protection, environment, as well as in strengthening inclusiveness and responsibility.
For the Swiss Ambassador, the 100,000-strong Macedonian diaspora is a valuable and respected actor in the Swiss society.
Both consider multilateral cooperation, especially related to running for prestigious positions, useful, constructive and successful.
