President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Ambassador of the State of Israel, Simona Frankel.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the overall bilateral relations between the countries, and it was assessed that they are characterized by friendship and mutual understanding.
President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized the Macedonian interest in utilizing the significant potential for further advancement of overall cooperation and the importance of deepening bilateral relations through specific sectoral cooperation, bearing in mind the economic, technological and scientific capacities of Israel.
At the meeting, President Siljanovska Davkova was informed about the current situation in Israel after the attacks by Hamas since October last year. President Siljanovska Davkova said that for all security issues, including the Middle East, our country harmonizes its position with the EU positions and coordinates its policies within the framework of the common foreign and security policy of the EU and in coordination with NATO member states, while being guided exclusively by the Macedonian interest and the interest of the Macedonian citizens.
