President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received today Abdullah Eren, President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency – TIKA, and his associates.
Emphasizing the fruitful two-decade cooperation, the President said that TIKA enjoys well-deserved respect not only from state and public institutions, but also from the Macedonian citizens, regardless of their ethnic and religious affiliation. After all, it is no coincidence that TIKA was awarded one of the highest state decorations, the Charter of the Republic.
On the eve of the celebration of the great holiday, December 21 – Day of Turkish Language Teaching, the President of TIKA recalled that TIKA has implemented more than 1,300 projects related to education, health, agriculture, restoration of cultural monuments, construction of schools, reconstruction of health institutions and donation of hospital equipment in the past 20 years.
Both confirmed that cooperation with TIKA strengthens the partnership, friendship and trust between the two countries.
