Siljanovska-Davkova meets with representatives of the ALDE group

President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received today representatives of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) from the European Parliament, participants in the international conference “Quo vadis Europa 2025?”, which was held in Skopje.

The guests confirmed ALDE’s clear commitment to unblocking the Macedonian European integration path, as well as the rapid and full integration of the Western Balkans into the EU, by reaching for creative solutions in this exceptionally difficult geopolitical momentum.

The President, through the prism of principles and values ​​guaranteed by the European constitutive acts, presented her views and proposals for a way out of the blockade.

The guests expressed not only interest, but also readiness to help overcome the unsustainable status quo in which we find ourselves, by initiating possible solutions within the framework of the European Parliament.

The President welcomed ALDE’s constructive approach, in the spirit of the European democratic principles and values. The meeting was attended by Svenja Hahn, President of ALDE and German MEP, Rik Daems, Vice-President of ALDE and former President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Vesna Pusic, first President of the Liberals of South-East Europe Network (LIBSEN) and former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, Monika Zajkova, President of the Liberal Democratic Party, and Emil Kirjas, Vice-President of the Liberal International.
