President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday of Epiphany, sent a congratulation message to the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, His Holiness Stefan, the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops, the venerable monasticism and clergy, and the Orthodox believers.
Your Holiness Stefan,
It is my honor and pleasure to congratulate you, personally, and the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops, the venerable monasticism and clergy, as well as all Orthodox believers, on the great Christian holiday of Epiphany.
May this holiday bring joy in our hearts, light in our souls, and peace in our minds.
I believe that the consecration of the Macedonian waters will help us overcome discouragement and lethargy, and will inspire us to be charitable and care for our loved ones and the community.
Only with kindness, attention, solidarity and empathy can we awaken the divine within ourselves, showing our true human nature.
Aware that humanity is faced with a deep crisis and difficult trials, we must begin to change ourselves if we want to change society. Only moral and wise individuals create strong communities whose progress and well-being are never at the expense of others’ pain and suffering.
Let us rejoice that we exist, let us appreciate and respect what we have, let us share our material and spiritual riches with others. United, let us try to contribute to a happy and decent present, and a blessed and prosperous future.
Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova
