20 March 2026 | Press Releases

President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, on the occasion of the great Muslim holiday – Ramadan Bayram, sent a congratulation message to the believers of Islamic faith and to the Head of the Islamic Religious Community, Reis-ul-Ulema h. hfz. Shaqir ef. Fetahu.

Dear Reis-ul-Ulema

hfz. Shaqir ef. Fetahu,

To you, personally, to the members of the Riyaset, to the muftis and imams, as well as to all believers of the Islamic faith in Macedonia, I extend my most cordial congratulations on the occasion of the great Muslim holiday – Ramadan Bayram.

The great holiday is more than a traditional celebration and adherence to norms and rules. Ramadan Bayram is an expression of deep faith, spirituality, mercy, harmony and love.

The energy and warmth of the holy month are not only present in the Islamic religious buildings and in the homes of our fellow citizens of Islamic faith, they are felt in the entire community.

At a time when all of humanity is facing serious conflicts, wars, crises, climate change and when we desperately need peace and stability, only with unity, respect and mutual appreciation can we build a healthy society and a prosperous homeland.

Let us continue to cultivate the pleasant atmosphere throughout the year and be filled with kindness, solidarity and empathy. With a strong will, strong faith and togetherness, we will overcome all challenges and difficulties.

Bayram Sherif Mubarak Olsun.

May the holiday of Ramadan Bayram be blessed and happy.
