President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Ludva.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the overall bilateral relations between the countries which this year mark 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, as well as the commitment was highlighted to further development and strengthening of partnership relations, which is expressed through intense political dialogue and economic cooperation.
President Siljanovska Davkova emphasized the importance of the strong support that the Czech Republic provides for the European aspirations of our country and the region, both on bilateral level and within the framework of the EU institutions and through the action within the framework of the Visegrad Group. The meeting also discussed the course of the reform process, with President Siljanovska Davkova pointing out the establishment of the Ministry of European Affairs as an important step that demonstrates the country’s commitment to the European agenda.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged about the current situation in the wider region.
