President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova received today Anita Angelovska-Bezoska, Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the meeting, the first since she took office, President Siljanovska Davkova was informed about the current work of the National Bank and the attainment of the foreseen goals, aimed at achieving and maintaining price stability and maintaining a stable, competitive and market-oriented financial system.
At the meeting, Governor Angelovska-Bezoska also presented the strategic goals aimed at improving the implementation of the monetary policy, the stability of the banking system, the smooth functioning of the payment systems, the management of foreign exchange reserves, and in the function of providing conditions for efficient, innovative and reliable financial services.
President Siljanovska Davkova welcomed the efforts of the National Bank to preserve the macro-economic stability of the country, in conditions of geopolitical and geo-economic risks. Governor Angelovska-Bezoska congratulated President Siljanovska Davkova on the occasion of taking office and wished her success in her work.
